Quilting is a great way of adding insulation as air gets trapped between the stitching bringing additional warmth. The outer fabric is treated with a water repellent finish so that you stay dry in a light shower. The softshell fabric, at the shoulders, arms and sides of body, is extremely flexible, breathable and wind resistant. The Letton can easily be taken with you as it packs down well.
